This seed trading group actually seems more active and easier to navigate than the GardenWeb group is now that the latter has been revamped. The only thing to note is that the Facebook group focuses on heirloom seeds.

I just discovered this Secret Seed Exchange (modelled after Secret Santa type exchanges). It is currently open to Canadians only, and it looks like it is held once or twice each year.

The Facebook page for this exchange is HERE.

The 6th Annual Canadian Autumn Seed Exchange has been posted. This exchange is best for experienced gardeners and heirloom/open-pollinated seeds are preferred (though well labeled, new hybrid seed can be submitted, too!) Please review the guidelines carefully if you decide to join in.

@TrueNorthTreasures - I received your PM. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I will reply in a few days. I just need to get my son's IBI Parent Training done first.

The 7th Annual Canadian Autumn Seed Exchange has been posted.

This is a fantastic seed exchange for Canadians only. Heirloom/open-pollinated seeds are preferred, but well labeled, new (2016/2017) hybrid seed can be submitted, too. Contributions must be postmarked no later than November 6th.

Please feel free to share with the gardeners and seed fanatics in your life (particularly if they have an eye for detail...see the guidelines in the article!
