Hello! My husband and I moved into our home 2 years ago and haven't had this done yet, even though the previous owners had dogs and I'm actually allergic to them. But I'll be giving birth any time soon and would like to have it done, finally.... Any recommendations?

My husband wants the same thing. We were directed to call a heating and ventilation company. Sears has this service I believe.

I always use Sear it's about $400 ish , they call every few years though to bug you after that . I like their system it's noisy as heck because they put a long thing in it and it has marbles on the end and it spins around inside to knock all the dust loose then they suck it out with a a huge vacuum.

They are very clean though and professional.

Unless any pest problems are present in your ducts or there is a serious mold problem, please don't waste your money.

You are much better off putting that money towards a good air filtration system, meaning first making sure your furnace has room for it (if not, may need to have a filter cabinet installed), and then buying and regularly replacing a 4 or 5" pleated air filter

You can buy new air filter system for your home. I know a place (unitedfilter) where you get good quality of air filters at cheap prices.
