It likely doesn't help that I do all of my shopping a rcss, that store is so overwhelming!!! I try my best to avoid the clothes section and stick to my list, but my lo runs off to the toys with out fail every time!! I guess spending $53 this week for our weeks worth of groceries is worth the 1.5 hours spent there today!

RCSS solution = park cart before going through cash and re assess what is in the cart. Put reject things in a hand basket and hand to cashier.
As for LO, ask LO if they brought money for the toy ( I saw a Mom do that with a toddler and the toddler stopped and was speachless for a minute).

Lol!! I make my little one wait for her cookie until we are headed to the cash. If she isn't nice at the toys than we do not get her a cookie! and I only put things in the cart that are on the list now. I am fairly good at that part now. I think it's just overwhelming cause its huge!! I feel like I need a nap after shopping there. I have to park the cart before I cash out already to sort what is pm and what isn't and what has coupons and what doesn't.

not planning to buy bread this month and hopefully will continue on, I took out my bread maker and has been making bread, pizza dough and different snacks for the kiddos. NF has flour, sugar and butter on sale this week, will definitely stock up for the baking items, I'm waiting for the baking powder to go on sale so I could replace my very old stock about five or so, doesn't do the work for my cakes anymore, anyone knows where I could get a cheap Baking Powder ??

I think that's pretty normal in my opinion (lol), I take a fair bit amount of time, where I lose alot of time is if an item I am planning on price matching and is on my list IS NOT IN STOCK at walmart (dairy mostly) which throws me into a whirl-wind of confusion, oh my god what do I do, purchase a different product, do without until next time, I get frazzled sometimes because I normally shop at WM and price match almost everything and use coupons for everything that I can AND because I'm on a budget for my groceries and I've accounted say $10.00 for yougurt drinks/cups, etc....which would be equal to say $15.00 worht of products only to see they don't have any example yop in stock, so I would be purchasing the yop for the next 2 or 3 weeks and then now I can't...........eek

Maybe it's cause I am sorting to price match of checking the coupons I don't know! Lol

That is very frustrating for sure!!! I dislike it when there are stock issues on 'staple items'!

It takes me pretty much all day to do our grocery shopping it seems. My mom usually goes with me and by the time we go to a few different stores and I look for unadvertised deals, tear pads and she looks at all new and diffrent products it pretty much takes up a whole Saturday. But on the plus side this is alot cheaper than other Saturday activities.

Ya, I do one stop shopping. I likely miss some in store specials but I'm okay with that. If there any tear pads I'm looking for I will run into one or two stores at most! I don't have energy to shop all day!!

With march break fast approaching - what activities are there to do for free? Let's share and save a bundle this march break?
