For what I have read you cannot freeze cottage cheese, like Ashley said, I don't think it would thaw properly.
We don't need to be rich, don't need to be famous just to have a good time!

Okay ladies here's a tip and a possible warning:

I'm not saying all garages/mechanics to this but pay attention!!!

A friend of mine who was a mechanic told me about this and when I thought about it, hmmm sound familiar.

When a lady/woman brings her car into the garage for anything, oil change, tire rotation, etc....The person at the counter puts a symbol on the work order it could be a star, a check mark....you know where I'm going with this.

The car could be registered under your name or your husbands it doesn't matter but if you drop the car off ladies/girls, etc. YOU WILL ALMOST ALWAYS GET A CALL SAYING, YOU NEED YOUR WIPERS, Your battery is low, etc...

Just saying pay attention the next time you bring your car into some place like C.T. or even a dealer because what my friend told was true for me and I always brought my car to the dealer.....hmmmmm. NOW I JUST SAY NO (haha)

Amazing what you find in the freezer...a pie...oh my (lol) - I bet you feel fantastic now that it's done!

So, I finally did what I had been putting of... DS and I with gloves on hand went to our dirty 1/2 finished basement and took out EVERYTHING that was in our freezer. I thought I "knew" everything in there. I didn't because I found a few surprises. The inventory of the freezer is now on my computer (where I meal plan) as well as my fridge.

The surprises is that I don't have as many tuscan veggies left, but do have lots of fruit essentials. I also found 2 pkgs of ground chicken, which is great as FIL can't have beef often as it affects his gout. And a pie... I found a pie. DH will be VERY happy with that for dinner.

Good morning to you too. I never take our cars in as that would be DH's job but that is good to know for future reference, jasperandchar.

It will be a no spend day here again as I am not planning on going anywhere. I will be making that spinach pie this weekend but I will have to add spinach to my grocery list. Thanks for the recipe and the tips, lecale.

    Good morning all,

another day of digging through the freezer to see what I can cook and bake. Its seems like the freezer is the place bananas go to die so maybe it will be more Banana Chocolate chip muffins. I still have loads of tomatoes too so I'm thinking butter chicken may be on tap for DH tonight.

Morning All...Well today is a no bake day for me...yeah....
But we have a couple of appointments today....So....
Wondering how much it's going to end up costing....
Even though I will bring them a snack and juice....
There will be McDonald, Tim Hortons and ALL these other treat stores.
I hear all the please....please....can we have....? And I eventually cave.

Last night I was digging in the freezer to make room for the hamburger I bought yesterday. OMG Found 14 packs of hot dogs. I bought 2 yesterday because I thought we were down to 1. Anyone notice the new size of Schneiders Red Hots? There are only 10 instead of 12. Same price of course.
