Thanks...At least now I know that we weren't the only ones who couldn't find them.

You may get an even better coupon out of the deal!! :)
I wasn't able to find the PB cheerios either so I sent them an email!
Does anyone make their own "school snacks" for their kids? Please share if you do, I would love to give it a try!
That would be great...The only thing I make is Rice Krispies squares. (which everyone knows)
And lately I'm baking cookies and cupcakes.
Away from that it's just granola bars (store bought) and fruits/cheese as snacks.
I do try to make my own Granola Bars, Special K bars and this weekend I will be making Quinoa Bites. I prefer my homemade Granola bars to the store bought ones but for me the issue as always is time.
This is my fav granola bar recipe

I make these granola bars a lot, not sure how much healthier they are but I like that I can put whatever I want in them to my son's tastes.I used up all my condensed milk coupons from the Ziploc boxes two weeks ago at Safeway when they had a BOGO event so I paid a bit over 1.50 a can which makes these more affordable!! Hope you like them.

You are welcome I hope you enjoy them, I always hesitate to give out recipes because one persons fantastic recipe is another persons flop depending on tastes! But I find anything with sweetened condensed milk is delicious!! Make sure you cut them with a knife that has been run under hot water to make slicing easier.
Does anyone here use lard for baking? DH helped a friend butcher 2 pigs last week and they gave us 6 containers of lard. It makes the best tea biscuits but I`ve never used it for anything else.
It makes a great deep frying oil when melted, that is what we used to use in a restaurant I worked in many years ago.It also is great in home made bread. I am pretty sure I have a really good ginger crinkle cookie recipe using lard but will try and post that one later when I have time to look.
link below is for multiple substitutions - lard is there as a substitute to many ingredients
