What are you thankful for today?

thanks skippy..I know it miner but surgery scares the crap out of me, as the last one I had( appendix removed) I was in hospital for 2 months because of complications..I hate every minute of it

I am thankful that my brother law was told back in January he had two weeks to live has started his 5th round of chemo on Monday and is doing much better than expected...80% people usually die after the 3rd we're told..my sister and brother law have been struggling through emotions and the stress of moving only to find our that the washing machine overflowed and ruined the floors in their new place..today my sister called and said she was in a much better place..it was a blessing to hear her voice and not hearing her feeling so out of control...Fri she phoned and I was sure she was suicidal (in case you didn't know she suffers with depression)..I spoke to her and asked her to promise me she wouldn't do anything...well to hear her today in better state makes my heart smile. Thank you God.

So many things on here to be thankful for..sunshine, health, holidays....wowtoday I'm thankful that I had a good night sleep...hasn't been many of those in a while with getting ready to movie and studying for exams.
The one thing I am really thankful aside from sleep is that I have a place to sit and think everyday what I and truly thankful for...=)

I am thankful that despite the rain and mud I have managed to use the brief sunny patches to plant my veggie garden. Now for the flower gardens!
