i didn't expect massive savings at a brand new store.. it's also the first store in the set of retail stores so it's not like they can just put on the sales that other stores are having.. they knew by just opening the doors even without sales it was going to be a packed place
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

I spoke to a manager, they will have flyers in 4 weeks when they will have a coupon policy set, and the price-cuts are their sale items. Not sure how early you went but they were still putting up some prices when I was there including the sale signs and at least one of my items was cheaper than shown on the rack.
Target was clear on it not being a grand opening, its a pilot just to train staff and get any teething problems out of the way. Even the manager I spoke to mentioned he was shocked how many people knew they were open

I went to the Milton location today it reminded me of Zellers when it was a liquidation store. Clothes all over the floor, shelves more empty than full, empty Tim Horton and Starbucks cups all over the shelving (I can't stand people that litter!!) So many people with screaming kids. Not many people buying things. Not a sales person in site except for at the cash area where they were directing customers to check out lines.
Hopefully when they have their grand opening in April they will be more prepared. So far I'm not a fan.
