Has anybody seen the movie?is it good? I was youtubing the preview and it looked a little violent but i don't know what to think.

Debating getting brave or that tinkerbell fairy adventure one to redeem for on points and prizes cuz i see nothing else good on there for me to chose from and finally be done with my account.

It's stylosied violence in the way Disney does it..slapstick rather than anything more graphic.

Depends on your child. My DD got it for a birthday gift (turning 4). A couple of scenes were a bit scary the first time but nothing major. She loves the movie. However I will say, she likes Tinkerbell more though. lol

My 5-year old loved Brave. I think each of the Disney movies has a bit of a darkside to them, but I thought Brave was fine, even a little silly when it came to the fighting.

My 10 yo and 4yo both love brave. If you think she might be a little overwhelmed maybe buy a more little girl friendly movie right nnow.
The beauty of kids DVD's is that it will still be there in a couple of years when she is ready for it

My DD turned 4 today (*sniffle*) and got this for Christmas at age 3.5. The "Mama bear" was a little frightening for her, but she cuddled up to me during the beginning of that part, and as it got lighter, she relaxed. We've now seen it about 20 times since and she loves it. She is easily scared by "dark" scenes in kids' movies, but this was one she got through after the first viewing. Along with the Grinch. lol

it has a few "scary" moments but it's disney scary.. i personally like brave over tinkerbell i'll turn on brave before i turn on tinkerbell.. i like the story brave has.. it's a feisty female princess with wild hair who would rather shoot arrows and hunt and be free then be a princess (kinda a positive female role not a princess falling inlove with a prince/happily ever after, its about family and compromise and tradition)
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....
