Grocery Bag: no $OOP thanks to sales, coupons, persistence and clixsense!

Headed to RCSS for a quick shop and found a few other great deals along the way. Here's how the shop played out:

1x Hamburger Helper $1.97 (with $3 beef coupon on box)
1x Highlighner Cod filets-free with FPC from company (had really bad (stinky bad) highliner mussels on valentine's day and called in)
2x Wonder bread @ $1.98 ea - $2 wub 2 coupon from save.ca
1x blade roast boneless $6.62 - saw this in the meat section...a whole bin full of fresh roasts down to $1.98/lb!!! Look how big it is...for $6 and change! Sunday dinner will be AWESOME!!!!
1x ground beef $6.56 - pink sticker - $3 coupon. The backstory: noticed the best before date was for the same day as my shop but it wasn't marked down. I cashed out my other stuff and took the beef to customer service to inquire. Had no problem buying and using it right away but knew that they usually mark them down when the date bb date is close. Anywho, 5 mins later I had my 30% sticker attached and saved $1.97, then I gave the cashier my $3 beef coupon from a prior box of Hamburger Helper...so paid $1.59 for it in the end!
1x kit kat (not pictured) for dd who was very patient!

Total bills after coupons: $13.11 charged to MC
Best part is, I just earned $13 and change from Clixsense last week so this bill is PAID IN FULL!!!

$OOP for groceries, I love it when a plan comes together!

Great deals OP! I have found that pink stickers are attached to the product during the last day of sale (at least in my area). So you have to be lucky to get the discounts. And Yes, sometimes they miss some packages and you have to ask for the discount. Thank you for posting and good luck if you participate in the March brag competition.

Thanks everyone! I was really pleased with the deals especially the meat. Looking forward to the Sunday pot roast! My last slow cooker meal was pulled pork (amazing sale at Freshco a few weeks ago) and was happy to share some with another family.

@walkinglady: thanks for that tip! My stores are great with putting stickers on items well before the "best before" date but it doesn't hurt to check the stores out before a flyer switch for any clearance deals and specials.

RE the march brag contest, thanks for the likes and thumbs up! I'd be honoured to win but even if I don't, it's been cool to stretch the grocery dollar in a week when things were a little tight. I've got some good coupons but not enough to use my coupon binder anymore. I'm heavily reliant on sales and loyalty programs/events now to keep to grocery budget in check.
