I like Eugene. I think he is funny
I finally watched last week's episode. Ugh, if I were them I would have let Abraham beat the tar our of that geeky little weasel, Eugene. I couldn't stand him in the books and I can't stand him in the show. Other than that, boring.
Last night's show was marginally better. I didn't care much for Carol in the beginning of the series but she's grown on me and turned into a real tough ass-kicker. I like her now. And what can I say about Daryl? I'm glad there was a show that finally centered around him. As for content, meh it was ok. I think Pady was right back on the other page when she said that it's more interesting when the entire core group is involved. I'm paraphrasing, of course.
And, yes, I was bummed to hear that there were only two episodes left this year but let me tell you, secretly I'm kinda happy because it's really hard staying up to watch the show and then getting up this early the next day, sometimes earlier.
That's what PVRs are for my dear Jays.
I liked last night's episode.
We now know who was with Daryl when he came out of the woods and saw Michone.
Going to be another breakout but we probably won't see the result until 2015 because they love to tease us that way.
Shame they have to go backwards to Atlanta. Wonder what will happen with Glenn and Maggie's group?
I'm guessing next week will be better. The majority of them together to get Beth and Carol. With only two episodes left, I wonder what the cliffhanger will be. First thoughts would be a death.
I do like the shows that focus on just a few characters but it does seem to leave precious little time to see the group together. I wish they would cut it in half and speed up a little bit.
yeah, like do a segment with the whole group then after the commercial do the next segment with the other two or three.. i agree
I do not agree. I like the sidebar shows. Get to see the back story on some of the characters. Was interesting to see what Carol was up to after Rick banished her.
I'll tell you why I don't like them it's really only because we have 16 episodes so not really like a full season which you would get on regular tv, 25 episodes. If they had double the episodes :) then ok have a few dedicated to a couple of characters but damn the season will be over before you know it and 2 more left then we have to wait until February. :(
I agree they should have more epis, but I still like the sidebar shows.
and that's the last time i'll bring it up...lol
Oh, Daryl. That was utterly disgusting. :yikes:
Is it just me being overly critical, or are none of the shows top notch lately? The previews for the next week's shows always look so exciting but when they come around they're kind of a let down.
Aaargh, that ex-cop had totally earned my trust too Attachment 265052 They're killing me with this eye-dropper type storytelling. On a plus note, Sunday nights have really become a tv junkie's premium buffet :hungry: : Walking Dead, Newsroom, Homeland, The Fall, Madam Secretary, The Good Wife !!
Jays, way too critical. I'm enjoying these shows.
Another battle royale is ensuing with the Atlanta cops.
Be interesting to see what happens to Glenn, Maggie, et al.
Poor Carol. She's in rough shape. Could it be the end for her?
Pshh, no. Carol is a tough old bird, she'll pull through. She'll leave that hospital with guns blazing.
Any thoughts on who is next besides the obvious, Gabriel?
Beth?
