Anyone else looking forward to fear the walking dead? I am also looking forward to the start of season 6.

Going to take a bit to get into the characters. We're so used to the WD cast.
I liked how it started with Nick seeing his girlfriend munching on corpses and then when he runs out into the real world, life is going on and people at this point are oblivious to the coming apocalypse.
He thought it was all just hallucinations from the drugs.
Then we start getting glimpses into some weird goings on that people can't explain. They seem to think it's some type of flu virus.
Anyway, let's hope the plot and the characters develop well in the upcoming episodes.
Oh... it's started? I haven't been watching much TV this summer. When is it on?
It's on Sunday at 9pm eastern time. (10 pm Atlantic time) season 1 will have 6 episodes and I already own the whole first season but only have the first episode. I bought it on the iTunes Store so they will be released 1 at a time a few hours after the episodes are aired on AMC. (Unfortunately my father in law <hubbies dad>was rushed to the hospital Friday night so we travelled across the province Saturday morning to see him in the hospital. We spent several hours at the hospital and got to say goodbye but He passed away Saturday night. Since we always unplug most electronics when traveling and the pvr would not be recording my show I bought it on the way to visit him.)Quote:

While I am looking forward to the rest of season 1 and 2 (like I said before season 1 has 6 episodes but season 2 will have 15 episodes) of fear the walking dead it is still not as good as the actual walking dead series. So I am not so patiently waiting until October 11th.
Looks like the main character may be handy in a zombie apocalypse. Definitely going to see the bullied boy as a zombie in episodes to come.
I "watched" it but my DD was yakking the whole time so I have to re-watch it next week. lol
I will reserve judgement until then. From what I saw the Johnny Depp guy was pretty good. I like the actor who plays the dad, I have seen him in lots of movies. Not familiar with the mom or daughter.
Looking forward to seeing how it all went down. I wonder if they will have the doctors from the CDC in this series? Surely they play a key role in trying to figure out what it is. I would like to see that doctor again and also his wife and how they tried to find a cure and how he ultimately had to shoot her.
