    It seems like the stars aligned today for me! The mail came and I was totally shocked to receive 5 FPC's from Kellogg's. I totally forgot that I had mailed away for a $5 gas card (with a cereal box coupon that I got FREE from a recycle walk!). The letter explained that they ran out of gas cards, so were instead sending me FPCs.

    So I was super happy because the school is having a food drive, so I planned to go grab 5 large boxes of cereal to donate. On my way to the cereal aisle I spotted these giant boxes of Rice Krispie Squares, $9.49 each! The total value of these was $47.45! So instead of donating these to the food drive (I already donated a big box full of food), I decided to donate them to the classroom - 200 cereal bars will provide many, many snacks for the kids over the next few months. I also earned 20 FreshPoints on my iPhone app just for checking in at the store!

    I also picked up two nice striploin steaks for dinner. They are on sale for $5.99/lb. Our neighbour is terminally ill, so we've been taking care of her snow this winter. She gave us some PC gift certificates to thank us, so I used a gift card to pay for the steak, making my entire order FREE! 100% savings! SURE BEATS A $5 GAS CARD!!!
