I have ordered from them over five times with oversized item like posters and never got taxed (except gst or hst depending on your province) but no duty tax in my case.

You can get the free 50 prints but extra 2.99US for shipping on top of the 6.99US shipping for the photobook. The shipping for the 50 prints is always the same so you don't have to do them all at once.

Make sure that it is the 8x8 Hard cover and not the special padding books

Keep in mind that the shipping charge increases as no of prints goes up.

Also make sure you don't pick a designer template - there's an extra charge for that. Plus its only good for 20 pages, anything over and you're paying per page.
