Good morning, everyone.
2 yrs ago we had a little catnip plant that my little assassin quickly turned into mulch. I spent all last year trying to find a replacement plant, with no luck. Last week my friend managed to find a little catnip plant & buy it for my boy. Quincy is now one very happy camper.
Last night, I rana into a neighbour whose cat passed away (she was 16 & on dialysis for a couple of years, the poor thing ). She gave me a box of dried catnip. I thanked her but figured Quincy wouldn`t be interested (he`s never liked dried catnip). Boy, was I wrong. It took him a while to figure out where the smell was coming from, but when he did, he sat in front of the shelf I put it on (well out of his reach) & started screaming. I told him to go to bed & he did. Reluctantly.
Around 3am, he decided to try his luck again. After some scratching sounds woke me up (brat was trying to reach it, but couldn't), he realized I was awake. So he decided to tell me what he wanted. "MEOWWWWW!!!"
"Quincy."
"meow."
"Go to bed."
"Meh, meh, meh, meh." & he did.
This morning, when I woke up, he sat in front of the box. "Meow???"
So I gave him a little bit to make him happy.
I think one day I might actually be trained.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good Morning 24 and not a cloud, should be at the lake!
This Face Book pun was sent to me today!
There were three medieval kingdoms on the shores of a lake. There was an island in the middle of the lake, over which the kingdoms had been fighting for years. Finally, the three kings decided that they would send their knights out to do battle, and the winner would take the island.
The night before the battle, the knights and their squires pitched camp and readied themselves for the fight. The first kingdom had 12 knights, and each knight had five squires, all of whom were busily polishing armour, brushing horses, and cooking food. The second kingdom had twenty knights, and each knight had 10 squires. Everyone at that camp was also busy preparing for battle. At the camp of the third kingdom, there was only one knight, with his squire. This squire took a large pot and hung it from a looped rope in a tall tree. He busied himself preparing the meal, while the knight polished his own armour.
When the hour of the battle came, the three kingdoms sent their squires out to fight (this was too trivial a matter for the knights to join in).
The battle raged, and when the dust had cleared, the only person left was the lone squire from the third kingdom, having defeated the squires from the other two kingdoms, thus proving that the squire of the high pot and noose is equal to the sum of the squires of the other two sides.
