Has anyone purchased a computer with a touch screen? Not a tablet or laptop, but a desktop.
My mother has really bad eyes and I was thinking of getting her a desktop with a touch screen (23") for ease of zooming.
She's 85 and has never used a mouse. She currently has a tablet with a detachable keyboard but it doesnt allow her to zoom certain documents or her emails.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

hey there, I have a Lenovo, touch screen desktop..it is really cool and easy to use...it even allows you to sign documents on the screen, etc. They are a little pricey, I think we paid around a $1000.00. I am not very techy but if you have any specific questions I can ask DH. We have been happy with our purchase so far and would recommend this brand.
p.s. The Princess Bride is one of my fav. movies..LOL

Thanks KelJo. The one I'm looking at is around 850.00. I'll check the Lenovo. I like them.

OP, you are good son, helping your mother like you are doing.
And, your mother is doing great with her computer skills at this age. Some a few years younger than her won't go near a computer.

Thanks SG.
You're right, she is doing great considering she had never turned a computer on until last year.I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

I don't have any advice with regards to touch screen computers. However I'm interested in this post because I need a new computer. Let us know what you purchase please.
