    I love using my crockpot, I use it almost every week. Its a good sized one and I have never had a problem cleaning it. I have had it and used it regularly for the past 14 years so I guess I am just used to the clean up. I let it soak with hot soapy water after I have done all the other clean up and go back when the water is cool enough to put my hands in and it usually comes clean real easy.
    Gonna try lizardqueens recipe for sure.
    Lizardqueen did you ever get any pics of pacakage from your mom? How did she make out with her singing this past weekend?

    I have chili in crockpot for supper tonight...Yum

    Omg... dh is sick and ds wanted veggie nuggets for dinner. So in an attempt to clear out my fridge leftovers i made myself a casserole type thingy and baked in my little ceramic dip dish. Lol...

    Sweet rice, tuna, a wee bit of cream of brocolli soup. Mixed it all together. Then topped it with a layer of brussel sprouts and the little bita of shreddd mozza. Who leaves the bag with like nothing left.... seriously dh. Grr.

    Anyways this is. What it came out like..

    Measured everything as well and whole diah ia 340calories. Hum.

    Our favourite crock pot recipe is Salsa chicken. Super simple and SO yummy!

    Frozen Chicken breasts (3 or 4)
    1 can of Black Beans (rinsed)
    1 can kernel corn
    1 jar of salsa (650ml)
    1 brick of light cream cheese (fat free does not work)
    1 can of green chilies (optional)

    Put it all in the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours. Shred the chicken with a fork (just falls apart) and stir to mix in the cream cheese. I serve it over rice most of the time but it is thick enough to have alone (like a chili!). If you want it thinner you can always add more salsa.

    I'm sad!!! I came home from the post office super excited that I dropped off and shipped my box...and then I found a bag of things that I didn't put in it!! argh!!! buddy - I'm sorry! they are just small little extra things that I had bought but still, bummed. =(
