It's a store in London...you can order online too. Website: http://canadasfinestcoffee.com/At-Home/home

I always get the K Cups at shoppers too, 6.99 is a good price. They have some at CT this week for 6.99, gonna go see what they have today. DH really wants to try the donut ones but can't find them anywhere ... probably have to order online.

My 3 year old Lucas used to give us all kinds of trouble at bedtime, still does a lot of the time!

A few suggestions for you (In addition to being mom I am an Early Childhood & Infant Toddler Educator and these are things I have told parents over the years):

First of all BE CONSISTENT with whatever you do! Whatever you decide to try, stick with it for at least 2 weeks. If you need to change something make it a minor change.

Give warnings to prepare (ie. 10 minutes until bedtime or, like in our house, when Deigo is over it is time to get ready for bed)

Establish a routine and stick with it (ie. pyjamas, snack, brush teeth, story, lights out) no matter how much he fights you on it!

Try (and this is very difficult) not to let emotion lead the way! Be calm and matter of fact, which believe me I know is easier said than done but it works=)

When he realizes that you mean business and no matter how much he argues (my son Lucas is a screamer!) you are not changing your mind he will get it=) I'm not saying it will be quick or easy but if you stick with it he will do it.

You need to decide what works for your family too, what matters to you. Decide what you want most and start with that=) My husband and I let our boys take books, stuffies, quiet toys etc.. to bed with them. As long as they are in bed/in their rooms I don't mind if they are playing quietly!

With Lucas at first all we wanted was for him to stay in his room! So every night when he would open his door and come out my husband or I would just calmly say "it's bedtime" pick him up and put him back in his bed. And when he came out screaming and yelling at us we just did the same thing (the only thing at all that we would say is "it's bedtime") over and over again! I swear we did that 25 times the first night!! My hubby was ready to give up but I made him stick with it and after 5 days we were down to about 5 times. That worked for a long time then he wanted someone to sit with him so now my DH does Bible story with him then stays in the room with him (lays on the floor with a pillow reading his ebook) until he falls asleep (usually 15 minutes).

Thanks so much for sharing your info! I just copied and pasted it and sent it via email to DH. I think tonight we'll just say "it's bedtime" and put him back in his room---which we've done, of course, except when we get to the 7th or 8th time we usually end up yelling and giving up and letting him play in the living room until he falls asleep on the floor. Soooo, there's I hope, I guess?.... And it will get better!

Hahahaha.... AND I forgot to mention that our problems with getting the kids to go to bed only happen when DH is at home--when he is at work and it's just me putting the kids to bed everything is easy, peasy, because I let them fall asleep in our bed, which hubby HATES!!!

I've noticed a big difference with Alexa even in the last few nights that we've been doing the 'sleep training'....just consistency. SUCKs and breaks my heart when I see the little pout and red eyes, but really, she's totally fine and just tired. Example, she just fell asleep on the couch by herself, slept for about 5 minutes, realized that she'd tipped us off to the fact that sleep is in fact NOT the enemy, and started screaming. lol. Such a drama queen. We got home late last night, and even though she'd had some decent naps, we were inconsistent in the time that we got home, and last night was HORRIBLE....she' was up every 45 minutes

My guilty pleasure is US FOOD!! Am I the only one who gets CRAZY excited to see the ridiculously unhealthy food that the FDA won't allow in Canada?

They have some cool food things that you can't get here, like low fat pringles, vanilla coke zero which would probably cost too much to ship, some other paleo type foods, snack bars.

Mes thinks you not my buddy... But. Tea is good. I like Tetley Orange Pekoe tea bags. Have LOTS of regular but could use some Decaf ones. Loose tea is great too! I love David's Tea. I don't really have a favourite. Open to try anything.
