I think it's a cute gift.... but I'm still sort of taken aback by the fact that they are having a double birthday party and your daughter is friends with one of the kids and you're kind of being sucked into buying gifts for both of them. Are the kids' sisters? That still seems a little sneaky of the parents.

Hi ladies, just got back from my little drive. My buddy was Julesie-Pie, but I delievered the package(s) to her cousin Jennifer. She opened the door and I explained that I had some mothers day gifts for her on behalf of her cousin and she was totally surprised and didn't really know what to say. Her adorable son ran to the door to show me his toy piano - he's soo darn cute n precious. My daughter came to the door to as I had 4 large gift bags and she wanted to eat him right up!! LOL!!

Just got off the phone with my Aunt! My cousin is soooo thrilled with everything in the package! She kept telling my Aunt how special she felt & that she never received anything so wonderful before! You completely made her day/week/month I have only heard the basics of what was in the package (I will be talking to her tomorrow) but she was so excited about the easy cookbook & diabetic friendly foods. I can't thank you enough for your very generous gifts for her!

I'm so glad she felt "pampered" and special - that was the idea . I am so happy to put a smile on her face, she seems really. really sweet. After reading what you wrote, I really wanted to get everything on the list for both her and Christopher. I couldn't find the shea butter socks and I forgot a couple other things that I really wanted to get. I forgot to get her a nice bookmark for the books. But I love the Easter shaped pasta I found...I remember you said she wanted some cool pasta shapes for her son. I'm so glad she approves of what I put together for her. You are so welcome! I had a great time shopping for her and her son Christopher.

OK, so I was chatting with the mom of the girl my daughter is friends with and she says that she and the other girl's mom are good friends and had babies on the same day. So they have always done double bdays. It's not like my daughter doesn't like the other girl. It's just if they had two separate parties on separate days, I actually think she would sit the other girl's party out as I don't want my DD to OD on parties, LOL. There are 25 kids in her class and she's been invited to every party except 4 (and they may not have even had parties) and there are 6 more bdays in May, June, July, August (I know this because I'm in the classroom and there's a bday wall with everyone's name and dates, LOL. That and I'm nosey! LOL)

It really gets overwhelming. For example, DD has been invited to a bday this Sunday that is 4-7pm and about a 45min drive from where we live (it's at a fun park) and DD's bed time routine starts at 7pm ... it's a school night! We won't be going to that one.

CP lied buddy, you were supposed to receive your package today but its still reading "in transit" as of 4:18 this morning fingers crossed for tomorrow (now I wonder if I can get my money back?)

if they told you it was to be delivered today and your buddy has not gotten it then yes!!! you need to call them and open a claim, but they will send you your money back once your buddy gets the package!
