Julia, just buy a small one at crappy tire. I got mine on sale for all of $15 or something stupid cheap like that. I have a giant a$$ one but wasn't using it because it was too big for us. You would just need a small one for the 3 of you too. As already said, just fill it with super hot water and dish soap and let it soak when it's cool enough to pull out and handle. I don't find the small one hard to handle or clean at all. The big super duper one is a bit harder though.

oh yes totally agree with that chicken recipe, with the stove top stuffing and soup. my family loves it.. and i usually empty the remains into an empty jam jar, then place in sink with cold soapy water.. 15 minutes later scrub lightly with a green scrubbie pad. tada nice n clean. and yes we NEED canada to carry the CP liners for sure!

it looks like a little soda bottle and when you squeeze it the stick comes up so the kids can blow the bubbles without touching the wand and getting the soap all over their hands

Ha, I was just going to say they were blowing bubbles. Much better explanation. We haven't opened them yet. I told the kids we had to wait for the rain to stop so we can go outside.

and I tried to make sure to get the same or close to for the boys so there was no argueing
i think the only thing that was different was the spiderman bucket and watering cans

It was fantastic! I really felt pampered. Didn't you know that children will aruge over identical things too? lol they were fighting over the toothbrushes last night. They really loved everything in there for them though. It was like Christmas all over again!

I couldn't find any to buy about a month ago either. There was signs up saying it had all been recalled. So is it gone for good or just for the time being?

holy crow! Package successfully delivered! Mailed at 11:45 am yesterday, delivered at 9:46 am today! Man that was fast and it even had to take a ferry ride!

THANK-YOU! that recipe is awesome! Any hints for peeling the tomatoes? Do you blanch them first?

Yes, I do blanch them in boiling water, then drop them in an ice bath. The skins come off pretty well without a lot of trouble, but it's soooo time consuming. I do it for my sauce, and my salsa and I swear that's the part that takes the longest.

I read a tip on Pinterest about microwaving them for 30 sec or so and it' being super simple to peel.. not sure if it's my microwave or not, but was definitely a Pinterest fail! Atleast with the boiling water I get somewhat of a facial at the same time.

Ok, so was shopping a little earlier and came across Fennel tea, which I know I had searched for months ago and could never find.. so I bought it today.. however, I can't remember why I wanted it!! Slam, I think you had this on a wish list once, is it for detoxing?

Am sitting here in the kitchen killing time.. I'm pressure canning beans and have 75min to kill, but have to keep an eye that the pressure doesn't drop. Went shopping this morning to top of a prize on my Summer VWT, but am now pulling out a box that I'd usually use for these trains! My goodness, I'm really addicted to sending boxes to my SC friends...

a box of long envelopes
a toothbrush (with NOTHING on the back of the head, amen!)
a brown square knitted container (going on the lazy susan on our table, matches perfectly)
a box of hot chocolate (after eight and all OMG so drinking this for the next few days, my throat hurts so bad its tastes so good)
a beautiful burgandy mug made just for the hot chocolate
a second cup i'll keep for my tea/coffee
a bouquet of roses, tulips, carnations.. they look so perfect in the vase in my bathroom.
a package of gloves for dishwashing
a Canadian living magazine.
a pair of fuzzy pink socks. hope i dont' wear these out too fast.
a Spatula from Wilton for decorating. we had like 4 of them.. where are they??? maybe off on some resort island with the missing socks.
two packages of cupcake liners. too cute.
a container of sprinkles.
a package of razors.. with the nice weather coming, guess its time to treat the legs nicer too.
5 bottles of nail polish .. so very pretty, blues, purple, and pinks.
3 chocolate bars. Lindt/Cadbury. drool!!
a set of sweet looking tea towels.
a bottle of Mio.. YAY!
the most precious silver/ivory angel trinket box. keeping this in my bathroom for my jewelry.
My husband got a febreze car scenter.. and a washing sponge. Betsy def. needs a bath!
Each of my sons received a toiletry bag with deodorant and body wash.. both HIGHLY needed.
