I always am strategically placing coupons almost daily at my local sdm. I ran into sdm after my son's soccer game to get some Advil, Multibionata and check for clearances,manager specials and coupons. I was in the vitamin section when I saw this really big indian man , who could seriously pass for a hit-man. He looked so intimidating and I am sure he was irritated by my crying baby in the stroller. I was determined to get the multibionata nonetheless, but then he caught my attention again when he went into a corner and opened his briefcase. All I could think was please do not steal in front of me because I have a overactive conscience and I will have to tell on you. It was then that I heard the all too familiar jingle of coins. I peered over and there he was with a bag of change counting pennies and trying to be discreet about it.

I took out my coupons and timidly tapped his arm and explained how he would only have to pay 1.99 if he used them. He was soooo thankful and was nearly in tears. He was just buying one box to send to his father in India but because of the coupons he was able to buy six.

I went home with one box of Advil , a grumpy baby and a raincheck for vitamins, it was not a typical haul for me but I was quite content .

AWW this made me really happy and I almost started to cry. I love it when you are able to help someone and make them happy. I hope one day I am able to touch someone so deeply.

You know, most times the people that look the most intimidating/scarey - have created that image to protect themselves. I've found in my life that when you show kindness it is returned in your Karma. Good for you - you probably changed his life by your action!

I have a new parking place at a church about 10 mins away from where I work, it will save me $70 a month. The church lady was really concerned that I might be afraid of the street people that sleep there. I said to her, you would not be a Church if you didn't create a safe place for people to sleep would you, I told her I was totally okay with it. So you know what I'm going to to, I'm going to make up some bags of goodies and leave them by the sleeping people when I go to work in the morning - maybe I can change their lives too!!

I gave one of my big boxes of Multibionata to a guy that lives in an apartment above my store..he buys alot of clearance vitamins , so I brought a box in for him.
