I happened to encounter the motherload of clearance/coupon combo items on my shop tonight. I was looking to price match the Sunlight laundry detergent that is on sale at FB and pair it up with my two insert coupons and then there it was....

A shelf filled with clearance items...

    Items I had coupons for...

items that were on my list to replenish in my stock pile...

WOOOHOOO! I didn't clear any shelves, not that I would feel bad if I did, since it was clearance stuff anyways. I was at the Woodstock, ON, No Frills location.

There was a whole bunch of the shampoo type things left, aprx 10 of the stayfree left, and at least 15 bottles of the sunlight.. LOTS of lysol cleaner left, and one vaseline left in case you're going to check it out. There were also lots of other things on clearance, but none that I needed or had coupons for.. I bought other stuff, but this was the brag-worthy part. The breakdown is like this:

    2 Sunlight Detergent, $2.00 each - $2.00 Sunlight coupon, = $0.26 (just the tax)

    7 x Lysol Cleaner bottles, $1.00 each, - $1.00 insert coupons, = $0.91 (just the tax)

    6 x Lysol Toilet cleaner, $1.00 each, - $0.75 insert coupon, $2.28

    3 x Vaseline Lotion, $2.00 each, -$2.00 insert coupon, = $0.78 (just the tax)

    8 x Glade plugins refills, $2.00 each, -BOGO tearpad/websaver/save.ca, =$10.08

    7 x Stayfree pads, $0.75, no coupon =$5.93

    3 x Garnier Fructis Shampoo, $1.00, no coupons, =$3.39

    1 x Pantene Shampoo, $2.00 - $1.00 P&G coupon, =$1.26

    2 x Aussie Shampoo, $1.00, no coupons,= $2.26

    1 x Sunlight Dish Soap, $1.00, no coupon = $1.13

Total out of pocket including tax on these 40 items: $28.28

Amount saved from just coupons $30.50 (48%? )
    .
Total regular retail price of items including tax: $192.91
Amount saved from combining sales/clearance and coupons: $164.63 (85%)

I used Walmart regular prices to get the regular retail amount etc. My savings percentage would be higher if I used regular NF pricing, but I didn't have those handy just used WM online...

I wish I had more of the Sunlight and Pantene coupons, but all in all it was a pretty awesome shop, thanks everyone! If anyone lives in the area and goes to check it out let me know if there's much left today
