Question: I was wondering what people tend to do when they buy so many of each item? I know it has got to be super convenient to not run out of things and just grab another pack of whatever I'm running low on from another room. But I'm a university student living in a house with three other girls, so I don't really stockpile. I just buy what I will need and use it. Does everyone who buys all of these items end up using them before they expire or do you end up giving them to people? I can't imagine what I would do with so much laundry detergent, deodorant or make up... and doesn't the food end up expiring? Just curious

Hi veebee
for your question, yes some of us do by a lot of things, but we buy it when it is on sale and we get it for really cheap if not even free
for one thing i only can talk for myself but i guess a lot of us do it .we buy it, sort it, watch it grow and if it is the time we will donate to people in need we do not through things out ,at least not me.here a little picture what i do with my kids
this is one of our donation !
my kids and i love to shop and help people in need .
I hope that answers your question a little .

I have four small kids and 3 adults in our home, we use alot of laundry soap. Also my dh is the youngest of 10 and once a year we ship barrels over to his family full of laundry soap rice and flour, I have 3 or 4 barrels of just rice and flour ready to go as we are shipping out soon!

Sharon, that;s such a good idea with the behind the door rack I'm going to use that to make some extra space!
Veebee, I always wondered that too.. and I just started my stockpile like a year ago, so I'm honestly not sure how much I'll go through and how often. For now, most of the things that I stockpile don't expire, and if they were going to I would definitely give them away.. but they were either free or very cheap so I couldn't pass up the deals

Love seeing all the pictures. We too have a fully finished basement, so when we did the Reno we built a closet under the stairs. So all the food goes there, then I have a huge shelf in the furnace room for health and beauty and pop goes there. All cleaning and laundry products go into the laundry room. I find having limited space works as it forces me to limit my products. I have not bought paper towel or toilet paper since December and in fact imagine it will be at least a year before I need more paper towels
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

You have to watch the expiry date and rotate your stock so you use up the soon to expire.
I stock up mostly on things that don't expire or have long expiration dates. For now I buy only what my family will use and always end up giving away to family and friends when they visit.
For space saving storage, I'd look at the small plastic stacking drawer set that you can buy fairly cheap or check out the dollar store for some cheap storage ideas that can work.

wowooo!!! Thanks chantalkiss and everyone for droolworthy pics!!! I am living through you people - my discretionary spending has been $0 this year so far... so I've mostly been taking away and not adding to my stockpile, which is the way it should be in need, that's what it's for great job everyone, congrats on going to your own store for a long time to come with those stockpiles
