DH went to SDM a few days ago and got a few things and I had our SDM card and he usually gives me the receipt and I go the next day or so and get the points added on and he had to return the same day so I said take that previous bill and the card and get the points added and they said they no longer do that. Does anyone else know that this has changed?

Can you get a shared card number for the same account?

Not sure about any changes but it might be easier to just have your DH get his own Shoppers Optimum account and card and then if and when you need to put your points together in order to to a redemption, you can do a transfer of points from one of your accounts to the other. I believe a limited number of transfers between family members are allowed but if they see many transfers with different people (like if you were trading them) then they can take your points away and close your account.

I hear people were finding receipts outside or in the trash and bringing them in to get the points from other people's purchases on their account. Usually, they give you back the points if it's within the week and you go to the store where the purchases were made, but they may be tightening the rules.
