    Not really a "freebie"
Complete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. Receive a cheque, deposit it into your bank. That easy! https://legerweb.com/2Q7V3

I think you have to spend $35 and also bring in empty container.

Its not a freebie when you have to spend 35.00 or more , if you enter the code below online and spend 35 online you get the starter kit free , if you go into the store and spend 35 and bring in a empty container you the starter kit . Either way you have to spend 35 to get the starter kit .

Kiehl's did this last year. I brought in an empty face cream jar (Not a Kiehl's brand jar) into their store on Queen Street in Toronto and got a starter kit with 4 samples in a plastic pouch. I posted a photo here: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/286108-...2/#post4617603
There were no costs involved, but I did have to setup a Kiehl's account since I didn't have one already. The staff was friendly and I was offered some extra samples based on questions she asked me. So this is a genuine freebie, if you bring an empty container to the store.

The way I interpreted it is: if you're online you have to purchase $35. If you go to the store, you bring in an empty jar - the "with your purchase of $35" is not stated for the "STORES*:" statement.

As far as I remember, last year ppl were bringing in any cosmetic jar and they went out of the kit early. I was too late to get it.

You're going to need facebook for this one folks, if you want to go to the store.

Go to Khiel's Canada facebook page.

    https://www.facebook.com/KiehlsCanada

Scroll down and click "claim offer" tab (there are probably a limited number available so you had better HURRY).

They will send you an email that looks like this and YOUR FACEBOOK NAME WILL APPEAR ON THE OFFER for the offer to be valid (I deleted my name from my posting):

    Kiehl's Canada
Redeem your offer by taking this email to Kiehl's Canada and show it to the staff from your phone or in print. Or click http://www.kiehls.ca/ and enter RECYCLE13 when you check out.

Great, now that I posted all of the above, now I receive an email that says this:

So I'm not sure if facebook is needed or not to claim this offer, but I think it would make your chances of getting the sample more of "sure thing".

I'm going to take my facebook invite to the store with me when I take in my empties to be on the safe side. But to be honest I'm now a bit confused by how this works!

Sorry- first time posting a pic....don't know how to rotate it!

Like said previously, you DO NOT have to buy anything to get this freebie. I took in some Biotherm empty I got from their free gift w/ purchase. Here's what it looks like!
Does anyone know if there's a separate men's freebie? Or do they just give this one out to everybody??

What classifies as "Cosmetic Jar"? If I bring in an empty Cover Girl Foundation, does that count? Or a simple Olay Moisturizer?

Yes, I did this awesome freebie offer last year for the same Earth Day (week) promo (April 28), brought in an empty jar, & got the kit. I'll be heading back again.

Don't have any cosmetic jars to bring in... what are other items that people have brought in that Kiehl's has accepted? Like concealer tubes, Neutrogena facial cleanser, etc. I read last year's post and it seems they also took shampoo containers. Can anyone verify this please!
