Costco Caesar Salad

I didn't plan well for supper tonight, so thought I'd pick up a rotisserie chicken and one of their big Caesar salads for us to eat over the weekend. Got my giant $10 salad out, dished out the lettuce with the shredded Parmesan, some croutons, some dressing, some...hey! Where's my bacon? By definition a Caesar salad has bacon! Well not this one. Are they all like that or did I get one that got missed by the bacon department?

I just "googled" Caesar salad and not one recipe on the first page called for bacon nor did the Wikipedia ( not the most reliable source I know) definition include bacon

My definition certainly includes it! Nearly any restaurant, even a Superstore ceasar includes it.

LOL, this is quite common, especially with pre-made stuff, and even in some restaurants.

Are you sure you didn't pick a 'no-bacon' package? I know Metro makes two versions of some of their salads, one containing bacon, the other one without. Maybe Costco does the same.

I have purchased the Costco Caesar Salads several times and have never found bacon in them...
