Thanks peanie, for pointing this out.
I have noticed the very restrictive wording on all the P&G coupons,
specifically, no trial or travel sizes, no value/gift/bonus packs.
Even at Shoppers, I used to use one coupon for each item in the
gift/bonus packs. I think this restriction and the no overage restriction
is due to the over-sensationalized transactions portrayed on 'Extreme Couponing'.

First of all the printing is gettiing so miniscule and jam-packed therefore with restrictions making it almost impossible to read therefore making it difficult for the consumer and the retailer to read.
If they are willing to make a coupon available, make certain that people can reading without magnifying sheets or glasses. And easier language therefore not leaving any room for interpretation, therefore easier to claim or reject. We all do not have degrees in Legal/ marketing/accounting terms and nor should we be.
I think a coupon should be looked at this way!
Oh I need some Olay Bars! do I have a coupon for it? Can it help me and my family? great not expired!! Let me put it on my list t purchase and in my purse to use.

I once got overage at Freshco, but nver again. (However, I know it is not in their coupon policy either)Infact...at my Freshco they look at me like I am the devil when I show up at the cash with a few coupons. They are not very friendly there. I think the nicest people who accept coupons are the ladies at my Giant Tiger. One lady said "you go girl!" when I was using some of my Glade coupons. -I wanted to hug her.
