Hello everyone!
When I became a member this was one tip that I thought might help some SC members or not of a certain age. The question is what is the age?
Some big stores have their own version of Senior and maybe we can all help each other learn "WHERE" and "SENIOR AGE REQUIREMENT" or as I have seen on certain emails "CERTAIN DAYS of the MONTH" or any other requirement that you know of. I think we can uncover some savings. We shopped a while back at RENO-DEPOT in Hull/Gatineau (similar to Home Depot) near Ottawa and their Senior age if I am not mistaken was "52" Yes...so there has to be others that we do not know that more savings can help us out... Please post if you know and somehow maybe we can make a list of them since they seem to vary.. It all adds up and I never see SENIOR DISCOUNT on brags so...Let's try and find them together (as usual). more found money-I hope.
Thank you to everyone in advance!!!
So to try to make it easier to reference to and read, this format might help:
1. WHERE:
2. SENIOR AGE REQUIREMENT:
3. DAYS of the MONTH (details):
4. NOTES:
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I want to thank "Shirmette" for the "LIKE" tonight from the original request. It reminded me that this was still yet to be determined. Thank you again. This thread is currently associated with: Home DepotLast edited by oscarandme; Mon, Apr 22nd, 2013 at 02:52 PM.

Great idea for a thread
1. WHERE: Shoppers Drug Mart
2. SENIOR AGE REQUIREMENT: 55-65
3. DAYS of the MONTH (details): Most Thursdays
4. NOTES: Save 20% off reg prices, some weeks you also get $10GC WUS $10. Age seems very dependent on store

Well....on a light note, apparently on public transit I am considered a senior. I am in my mid-fifties and every day a younger person gets up and offers me their seat on the bus or sky-train. I`m not sure whether to delight in the wonderful manners exhibited by the younger generation or to become depressed over the fact that despite my dark blonde (not grey) hair, it does appear that my age is beginning to show. At 55, I am not willing to ask for a senior discount, even if it`s available. I just cannot go there yet....
So many coupons....so little time!

DianneS!
I hear ya sister!!! I feel the same way but you can use this to your adaventage. DH to get a better price would sell his soul so let DH or Mom or Dad or auntie June take responsibility for the savings. But I know that 52 surprised us at Reno-Depot and they had a slae already day and it was on liquidation and DH "senior discount" We were purchasing 24X24 white porcelyn tiles and we saved so much money that is why I heard so often did you know that the age for .... is 62 now or that... now is whatever. I thought with all of our SC members there has to be wealth of knowledge to share. Age shouldn't be a negative thing neither are coupons. I thought this thread might be helpful. Thanks for sharing.
