So I stopped by a WM on my way back from work.
I was able to use 2 of my Gain coupons.
I got 3 25-load Gain laundry detergents.
2 x $2 - $2.50 = $0.75 each plus tax
1 x $2 - $1.00 = $1.00 plus tax
I also got 11 Right Guard deodorants.
11 x $1.98 - 11 x $1.50 = $0.48 each plus tax
These were pretty good deals I thought. It really sucks that I was leaving the parking lot I got into an accident. I am physically fine but the financial strain of having to buy a new car is stressful beyond belief. I said to my DH, "Maybe I should forget about couponing for now" because if I wasn't at that WM nothing would have happened. And he said, "We need couponing now more than ever."
Maybe he is right. It just hard to care enough now I feel... It's good that no one was hurt, but I try so hard to save a lot of money and now we have to spend so much we didn't have to before...This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

Glad you got some deals - but so very sorry about the crash...
Hoping insurance covers enough for you so it's not too much of a burden.
But don't beat yourself up about it - crap just happens, to everyone...

The car insurance company should cover the repairs. I was in 3 separate car accidents (none were my fault as each driver was on their cell phone, and I was hit from behind at red lights)..all 3 times the repairs were taken care of by the insurance companies. If you car was written off, the insurance company should cover it. I understand it may be a burden having to look for another vehicle if that is the case.
The 2 years you may be referring to would be the income replacement benefits. They cover 2 years if you have injuries that prevent you from working.
I am so sorry to hear of your accident but glad to know you were not injured. It's hard, it's nerve wracking, upsetting..it's a lot of different emotions, just have a hot bubble bath if you can, add some epsom sallts (that will help) relax and remember, tomorrow is a new day. Don't let it get you down, and don't stop couponing!! I understand it's a very emotional experience to go through
Sending you hugs and best wishes, and happy couponing always!!!!Last edited by canadianhockeymom; Fri, Apr 26th, 2013 at 04:35 PM.

Great brag and I'm sorry your accident took away from your awesome day. Don't stress too much. We pay insurance premiums for a reason. This is one of those reasons! Let them know you were in a wreck and let them handle it from there on.

Sorry to hear about the accident. On the bright side you are ok and that's what's most important.
Don't beat yourself up, and your hubby is right. ***Hugs***

Great deals but unlucky car accident. Bad things happen to good people, so do not blame yourself or your couponing. Be happy that you are fine and healthy. Yes, it is stressful but cars are replaceable, humans are not. Many hugs for you and your family.
