According to 2 workers at WalMart at Square One, anyway.
I was buying 2 boxes of cereal (no coupons) and 2 packs of the Pita Break Just Minis. She rang in the cereal, then I gave her the coupon (printable from Save.ca) for the Pita Breaks, and she said it looked fake. So she had me pay for my cereal, then walked with me over to the Customer Service desk. She was being very rude, saying things like, "I've never seen a coupon for $5, that's high.", practically saying I faked it. I pointed out the Pin number, all that, and even told her I've received them in the mail, before.
The CSR then looked at it, said it looked fake, and they wouldn't get reimbursed for it, blah blah blah. I got her name (Uroosa, I think it was), and told her I'd be making a complaint. She just said, "Go ahead, but I won't be getting in trouble." grrr...so mad.

That's BS I would be very upset if that was me. All that matters is you know the truth and you shouldn't let it bother you as much knowing your coupons are legit! Knowing myself I wouldn't put up with that and would definitely contact head office and explain to them the situation. It makes me wonder how many other people have been refused using coupons like that. Just because it's printed they shouldn't accuse you saying it's fake. I can't say I have ever had this issue before but if that was me I would definitely explain where you got the coupon and perhaps show it to them on there computer ect. If this happened to you it will happen again until the cashiers and CSM figure out that company's do offer high value coupons. Stand your ground and tell them to prove it that it's fake. Grrr makes me angry couponers are treated like this. sorry about the little ramble I hate when I read customers are treated like this.

I did argue a bit, but DH was having trouble keeping the kids...'contained'. And he was already upset we'd been there so long (DD had to potty, and she takes forever lol). I basically copy-pasta'd this to the Contact Us email.
And they're almost $3, but usually I get them on sale for $2.49ish each (making them FREE, because it's $5WUB2). DS loves the Apple Cinnamon ones, so do I.

You should also let Pita break know that you are having a difficult time with the coupons. It hurts then when people are unable to try their products with their coupons and start to love their products. Their orange cranberry ones are my favourite.

yup! I do that as well as contact w@lm@rt HO..sometimes the companies don't know when there are problems redeeming thier coupons and may intervene on your behalf.
