Has anyone attempted to stack anything at Save On Foods. I was emailed from Customer Service confirming they are stacking again as of April 26, 2013 but because I haven't seen a new coupon policy I haven't attempted to stack. Save on Foods emailed me Friday and said they are still finalizing their coupon policy and will be posted on the Website and FB. I haven't seen anything yet

There have been a few people who have been able to stack around the lower mainland and the island. All have had success, and no problems what so ever.

I wish people who had stacking success can provide with details so others can do the same without any hassle with SOF cashier. ^_^

The jist of the policy seems to be very pro couponer, good for us. I think they are also asking the consumer to be patient during the transition back to stacking.

I have had huge success!!!!! I was told it started on friday so that is when I started and I spent most of last week ( tues-thurs) ironing out details and I posted that info in two other threads! I spoke with 3 managers at my local stores and someone from H/O and got all my questions cleared up. I was given no hassles, all smiles from cashiers....its quite strange actually...I had gotten so used to the glares and rolling eyes! LOL

So for help with stacking, make sure you have different UPC's, and that you are within the 5% of the total purchase - this point is the tricky part. So for example, if an item is on sale for 97cents and you have a 1 dollar coupon you are within the 5% so you get the full 1dollar taken off. If something is 4.80 and you have a 5 dollar coupon or 5 dollar stack you can use it and get the extra 20 cents.....if that item was 4.50 you wouldn't be able to use your 5 dollar coupon, but if you had say 2x2 dollar coupons you would have to pay the 50 cents.....

Apparently the cashiers have been told to check for different UPC's, make sure its a valid coupon for what you are buying etc....and that you are within the 5% rule. So as long as you the couponer are organized it should go very smoothly...I was told that they are expecting the couponers to make sure they are providing the correct stacks etc and if you are doing large quantities they want you to pre-order so you don't deplete the store ( but I am finding ppl are ignoring that b/c I am seeing the shelves cleared almost completely of glad bags ) ....anyways I called my store and ordered 10 boxes ( I feel this is reasonable ) - no issues and super easy all done at the Customer service counter!

I just hope ppl don't get too crazy and do what they did at LD - order a huge number deplete the warehouse , stack the coupons , get everything for free - b/c of that we can no longer stack scrubbing bubbles or Finish at LD.

Anyways I am so happy stacking at SOF's and PriceSmart etc is back! Woo hoo! its going to be a process until everyone knows what they are doing...i say start small and go easy for the first couple of weeks!

I have a question. Do the coupons have to be from different sources? Or can you stack tear pads with tear pads, inserts with inserts, that sort of thing?

i have found this http://www.saveonfoods.com/sites/def..._29th_2013.pdf posted on the forums i'm surprised no one else has posted it... it does seem a little.. lax of a policy though makes me wonder if there is a more solid one in the works

I've been communicating with a fellow couponer from a FB page, where her and her partners have been gathering information from other OWFG(SOF, Pricesmart etc) consumers and have forwarded this info to OWFG head office. They in turn worked with these couponers and came up with the above policy. So please everyone follow this policy to the T, expecially in regards to high volume coupon redeemers, and reserving the right to limit quantities purchased.

This is all very exciting news for us, and we want to keep it this way!!

I've heard that some do, but its up to the management team, so would be best to phone your store ahead of time.

That was one of my first questions! No they don't have to be from different sources! So for the glad I used two diff tear pads and a printable! It makes stacking so much nicer! : )

pretty much as long as they are different UPC it's stackable..from a reply on facebook they said "Save-On-Foods Hi, we're not concerned with the restrictive wording, stacking is now permitted. Any Canadian coupon with a valid expiry date is acceptable and stackable as long as the UPC’s are different. Have a great day."

ohh i see vanhoutte tearpads being unable to find again
