I do not understand what SOF is doing....P&G specifically states they do not allow stacking. I personally will not be trying to stack P&G or any other company that I know does not allow stacking. Once SOF doesnt' get re-imbursed for a lot of these coupons, do you not think they might change their minds about allowing stacking (again)??

I agree with you! I'm excited because their stacking guidelines are more like London Drugs. Before, even if it stated "cannot be combined with any other offer" no stacking would be allowed.

I'm comfortable stacking these kinds of coupons because LD does it and it's been fine.

However, P&G coupons strictly prohibit stacking of their coupons - that's why their wording is what it is. I don't get why SOF is going to shoot themselves in the foot with this because I honestly think it's going to backfire.

I'm excited about stacking, but aghast at the inclusion to P&G coupons.

First off let me say, I completely agree with you on this
If you go to the SOF facebook page, and check yesterdays comments, look for my name Leigh Keating, and you'll see a few others,I think someone named Candace, asking for SOF to clarify this. SOF says they aren't concerned and that its between them and the manufacturers. I think you have to go to the SOF New West page. Happy reading!!

I am actually quite fine with them imposing limits. This way all customers will be able to shop for what they need.

Wonder if they will allow preorders of more then five items, doesn't their new policy mention something along the lines of preordering so as to not clear shelves?

I haven't heard about this....from what I understand its up to the manager of the store you are shopping at. For example, I specifically asked the manager at my local store what he considered to be a lot of something....he said it depended on the product and how much they keep in stock at one time. So if item A normally has 24 stocked on the shelves and you wanted to buy 6 that's fine....but if you wanted 12 it would be too many and they would want you to pre-order.

Where did you find out the limit about 5 items? I have spoken to 3 different local stores and head office and no one told me that.

Yesterday, I bought this item (Glad Garbage Easy-Tie Kitchen Catcher Bags (Regular, 48ct)) too.

I used 3 $2 off coupons (2 tear pads with different UPC & Clorox). Just need to pay tax 72 cents. Plus, I get $2 rebate from Checkout 51.

I ended up making $1.29 cents with free Glad trash bag.

mine only allows 6 items and if you want more you have to order, you can't order and stack if its not in stock ( no rain cheque) and lastly, you have to phone before if you are high volume stacker or a group. I'm happy with that, there's no shelf clearing at my SOF and everyone's is happy
