do you donate to a food bank or shelter? Looks like there will be a good chance to donate some pasta this week with the upcoming Redplum. I don't really eat pasta so I am going to get as many of the redplums this week for the 1.00 off Barilla....there are lots of needy people out there that would enjoy the pasta, so I am going to donate it. It's nice to see people on here using coupons for good things.

a $1.00 coupon is just that $1.00 the tax is included in the face value of that $1.00 the customer should always pay the taxes. Unless the coupon is for a FREE product then the taxes can be included in that coupon value. Walmart will only get the $1.00 back from the manufacturer. If the cashier wrote on the coupon a different value then the office may talk with the cashier over this issue. That cashier has had poor training if they allowed this to happen...otherwise good shopping

I wish! I was in Rexall today and found 4 Crest toothpaste (whitening, 130 ml) on clearance for 96 cents and the cashier (and manager) changed the price to $1.00 so I couldn't get overage.

I was talking about Walmart since Walmart's policy allows for overages if applicable....but changing the product price to higher than the price listed is ridiculous....they should adjust the coupon down...you end up paying tax on $1 instead of 96 cents?
