I plan on buying a new computer and likely an extended warranty to go with it. I was wondering what Best Buy is like, if for some reason, the computer has a problem and needs to be fixed? I understand they fix computers in store. Positive or negative experiences with their service? Thanks!

I bought a Laptop from Futureshop, which is the same as Best Buy and bought the extended Warranty.
My computer required repairs and I contacted the manufacturer directly when I had issues with it, and the manufacturer handled everything. I just had to provide a copy of my receipt that I had purchased the extended warranty.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

I also bought a computer with a faulty fan from FS, which is the same as BB, and they basically told me I had to come back at an inconvenient time and wait 2 weeks to get my pc back after that. It was complete and utter BULL and I will never buy an extended warranty from them again.
I didn't end up getting it fixed, ever, because FS was so useless and did nothing to help me.
