PC Plus Programme

Question about PC Financial credit card, I just became a new customer:

Dh and I have one pc credit card account with a primary (dh) and supplementary card (me, different credit card number though). I have set up a new pcplus account for my supplementary card.

PC financial customer support tells me I need to call them and have dh's credit card linked to my new pcplus account linked to my credit card and we would share one set of points and offers.

Is this the only option? Just wondering if others with the credit card are able to set up so that the supplementary card gets different offers than the primary card.

I have visions of dh purchasing one of something not even knowing about an offer when I plan on using it to buy 8 with coupons and then it's gone lol.

Not familiar with the credit card scenario but I'd say do not link.
DH and I have PC debit cards, different card numbers of course but basically the same account from where funds come from.
He has his own points and offers and I have my own.
Keep them separate I'd say.

Also, about the rounding off and getting points, I had an offer for 100/$1 broccoli and got 200 points for 1.99. I paid with debit.

Thank you Grey. I'll get him to try setting up his own account on the weekend then and see how it goes. The cs rep made it sound like I didn't have an option but I wasn't confident that he had all the correct answers.

10,000 PC points = $10

Been trying to log into PC Plus for hours and just stalls out. Just tried again and things were moving along and then received the message "no limes about it something is cooking". Argh. Never had that come up before. Would really like to see this weeks' offers to decide where to shop. Sigh. Anyone else getting this message?

Yeah, I've been having trouble with it all afternoon, too.

I just logged in-no issues. But when I tried to log into Fortinos.ca about an hour ago for the produce PC Plus offer, I got a screen of text!

BEEF/PORK BLEND HAMBURGER

Seems when beef is on sale, my offer is for pork. And vice versa.

Worked out for me this week though...

My offer is for fresh pork, bought 4 big packages of beef/pork blend. No points, but I did not expect them.

Called and csr gave me the points because of the pork blend.

So, looks like this item will work for beef or pork offer. Just have to call for points.

Sorry, I have no idea. I'm new at pc points.
Pretty much just reading this thread to learn.

I find the meat offer never lines up with the sale so I have been trying to remember to save that offer to the next week.

now how do you like that @WINNIPEGZELDA ? I have never bought that blended meat before and I only had an offer for 200 pts on each dollar spent on beef, BUT they actually gave me :shock:1600 points for a total OOP of $15.83 spent. ( that was 600 points each on 2 packages of $7.91 and $7.92 )

Honestly I was just thrilled to get any points, I have seen them in the past NOT give me the points on something because I was a mere 1 penny short of the dollar spend. ( you know when sale is $1.99 and I'd get points on that first dollar but not on the other .99 cents! )

I think they make up the rules as they go along......

We love it, much tastier than straight beef. Juicier. Think it's 40% pork.
Before NF opened in my neighbourhood, we always bought the mixture from a butcher.

Is the beef or pork just for some people or do you have to go to "star" page to load it? I guess my other question is how you get to the star page at all! Thank you for any help!

Yes I did that on friday for spend $40.00 and get 4000 points at the end I paid $3.45 and receive 11000 points because I had some other offer

I find that it works if the bonus offer is for specific things. But if the offer is for spend $100 for anything to get 10k points, then it won't work.

Hello everyone. I have been trying to log in on my pcplus account (website and app) but the page says that "they are cooking up something". It's been atleast 2 days now or may be more than 2 days. Is anyone else having the same problem or is it just me?

I guess that 6000 pts offer wus $20 on produce is considered an in-store offer? I logged into the Fortino's site and my loaded offers are the same personal offers from Friday that I saw. Or am I missing something?

Could be an issue at this time of day. Login through guidingstars.ca and pick your store-you'll be able to look at your offers that way.

Did anyone do the 3000 pts offer wub the PC Vanilla Bean Mascarpone Cheesecake? I'm looking for opinions on the cheesecake. Is it good? Overly sweet or overly rich, etc. How does it compare to their other cheesecakes - I adore the red velvet one :biggrin:
