My trip to Target Langley
So I went to Target Langley for the opening today. Here are my highlights
-I went at about noon and man was it a mad house.
-I had to park all the way over at Sears.
-Massive lineup for the cash registers
-There's a Starbucks at the outside entrance.
-Massive female clothing selection. Small male clothing selection.
-So many MILF's. Looks like most of the people in the store are people that normally shop at Safeway or Save-On Foods. Can't see any people that would look like they belong on www.peopleofwalmart.com
-Mossimo v-necks are $9.99. They fit slimmer than H&M v-necks, which are $7.
-Waittime for fitting rooms was >30 minutes. They only had 6 rooms and only allowed up to 6 items at one time. Practically every single women in line had 15+ items, which meant they hogged the rooms.
-Fitting rooms are small and kind of dirty. Reminded me of Zellers.
-Staff are extremely friendly and every single one was smiling. Huge difference from the old Zellers employees.
-The store was fairly stocked and only missing stuff in a few areas
-Electronic section sucks. Laptops are absolute junk. Flash drives and SD cards are old as and the prices are two times anywhere else. TV selection wasn't that bad.
-Big Apple section with iPhone 5, 4S, touch, iPad, mini, and iPod tables
-Groceries tended to be more expensive than Superstore.
-Grocery selection still sucks compared to stores in the USA.
-Soft goods like towels, bedding, etc are pretty good for the price.
-Perfumes/cologne selection is an absolute joke. They pretty much only have celebrity fragrances and none of the regular assortment sold at The Bay, Holt, etc.
-No big appliances.
-Big selection of Dyson products. Forgot to write down prices.
-The store is extremely easy to get lost in. The layout reminds me of Ikea. Extremely annoying that groceries are in the very far corner.
-They were giving away extremely small slivers of an absolutely massive cake at the mall entrance.
