Mini Rexall Brag
My aim was to use coupons that might be expiring soon and getting things free or close to it.
I went to Rexall twice.
Trip #1:
2X Speed Stick - Power - on sale. !.77 X2 =$3.54 - $2.00 coup =$1.54 = .77 each - Great! I'll give these to the Salvation Army Outreach.
2X Cadbury Cream Eggs - on sale .46 X2 = .92 (You didn't hear that did you? - Couldn't resist - didn't get one for Easter- come to think of it - the Bunny passed me by - no sympathy needed. - I didn't pass me by.)
Trip #2 - because I forgot to use my Wonderbread coupon the first time around.
Hubby was at home making hot dogs for lunch and we had no buns.
I grabbed the last Hot Dog Buns package and last Hamburger Buns package so i could take advantage of the B2 for $4.00 = $4.00
I picked up 2 loaves of Wonderbread = 2X$1.99 each = $3.98 - $1.00 WUB2 = $2.98 = 1.49 each
So total for both shops = $1.54+$4.00+$2.98+.92=$9.44 + oh yeah - .58 TAX= $10.05 somehow+ Air Miles + a "Congratulations" from the cashier.
Not a BIG savings but I'll take it.

Greats deals and I love that sentence:My aim was to use coupons that might be expiring soon and getting things free or close to it.

It's awesome when the cashier says 'wow' or 'congratulations' after your bill goes wayyyyy down because of coupons !! haha
I went to Shoppers yesterday and got Arm and Hammer detergent for $1.99 (after sale $2.99 & -$1.00 coupon), the cashier was like "wow.. that's really great!" haha
