Mini Brag (Lowes & Garden Gallery)

Stopped @ Lowes to buy advertised Windex @ $2 but got few deals.This is the breakdown:

Windex $2(used BOGO cpn)=$1(for both)
Lysol toilet bowl cleaner $2( used $1 off mfg cpn)=$1
Off Clip On Mosquito repellant $8.82 (PM Cdn Tire $9.99 so additional 10% discount + websaver cpn(buy a Off clip on & get refill free($6.98 value)

Cashier explained she had to put in values for free items so she split costs but the one for the Clip On doesn't seem right IMO as $9.99-10%=$9 but she keyed in $8.82(I guess she knows what she did)

What would have been $28.20, cost me $12.23(taxes included).....> 50% savings

As for Garden Gallery(Heart Lake) Brag, I took back a dwarf Blue Spruce I bought last year that died.I didn't plant it in garden as I was pregnant & not up to such tasks. The clerk asked me if I had taken it out of the container & I said no..i was being honest..She then went over my receipt pointing out Limitations etc. Adv her I wasn't aware & explained pregnancy situation etc & asked if she could make any exceptions; she flat out refused to do anything saying its policy etc...I was upset for not reading agreement closely & for her to not even attempt to come to a middle ground solution to satisfy me(the customer). I then asked if she was the owner of the store & she said no..I then asked to speak with the owner .He came & expound what she had already explained & says he can't give me another plant free but he can certainly help me out with a discount . I needed a Wigelia really bad so I picked up one for '$20.He offered me 40% off the plant. I was a happy customer.. It goes to show that the buck doesn't stop with regular store clerks, management needs to get involved when necessary & any organization that has good customer service will always have loyal customers...I am (& have always been)a loyal customer & now that this happened, no plant I buy will stay in the pot,Also, I'm happy I didn't have to lie .

Love that the manager at least gave you a discount.

What a coincidence Shirnette..... No planting for me last year too because i was preggos too :-) !!!!
