Hello everyone! I need advice on whether to do 20x points this weekend or use the spend your points and get points back coupon. Thanks in advance for all your comments and suggestions!
I have 4x$10 off pampers coupons ( i got them from 2 different trades). They all expire June 30. I am contemplating on whether to use them this weekend or not. I believe the pampers boxed diapers will be on sale this weeknd for $22.97. If i use the $10 off coupon it will come out to be $12.97/box. Planning on using all 4 coupons at the same time- hope there won't be an issue since none of the coupons have my name.
Do you guys think it will be a better deal to use the spend your points coupon ( i have 50K points to spend) or just do 20x points?
Thanks again!!!This thread is currently associated with: Pampers

If I were you I'd take part in the 20x the points. That way on the $40 worth of coupons you're not actually spending you'll earn 8,000 bonus points. This is especially awesome if you haven't used any of the VIB 3,000 BP coupons that are available. You could even split your transaction into two different shops if you have access to a second optimum card to gain extra bonus points using the same coupon for different accounts. So ideally you could get to the $50 minimum twice, (2 boxes of diapers on each plus fillers if you're going for extra bp or do it all at once if not), spend less than $60 and earn 20,000-30,000 points depending on what bonus point coupons are available (I haven't checked lately)
This also gives you the flexibility to use your spend your points coupon on a different day or flyer if something comes on sale at a great price. Not sure when it expires though. Good luck!

Depends if you want to spend $ or not this weekend. Do 20X the points and spend $ or redeem and get stuff basically free (but pay the tax).

My opinion on redemption is:
If I have money available to spend, I'll buy and earn points.
If I don't have a lot of extra money, but there are things I want/need, I'll redeem.
So like others have said, if you are okay with spending the money, it's probably more worth your while to take part in the 20x and earn some major points!

i did two transactions yesterday for the 20x points event.
20x Campbells mushroom and 4 boxes of Pampers diapers
Used 4x $10 pampers coupons
Printed BP on diaper 3000 x 2
Spent $36.15x2 = $72.30 including tax
Reg points - 500x2
Coupon points awarded - 3000x2
Transaction bonus points - 9500 x2
Total points earned - 13000 x 2
What is 26000 points during regular redemption and mega redemption?

A 95,000 PT/$250 mega redemption would be worth $68.42
A 95,000 PT/$200 bonus redemption would be worth $54.74
A 95,000 PT/$170 regular redemption would be worth $46.53
Great job racking up the points!
