Thread: Wholly Salsa Mild
-

Picked up some Wholly Salsa from Walmart the other week cause of the $1 off and to be honest, I'm not a fan. It is loaded with cilantro so if that's a taste you love, then this salsa will be perfect for you. I absolutely detest cilantro so I'm not really liking the taste. Just thought I'd write up a quick review. This salsa tastes more like pure vegetables in comparison to other salsas like Tostitos.

HA!
I brought two to an event this past weekend and everyone LOVED it!
I don't enjoy salsa so I cannot put my two cents in; however, I even had people ask me where I bought it so they could purchase it.
I love hearing the different reviews

I really find it was too chunky the spices all off. I do not like it at all! Very unimpressed as I do love the guacamole.

OP, I have never seen this brand, but now I am intrigued to look for it. I love cilantro, but because there is often so much sodium in salsa, I resist buying it. If you have a label still, what is the sodium content for a serving size?

Glad we weren't the only one who disliked this salsa. Loved that it was free, but it was loaded with waaayyy tooo much salt and it didn't taste like salsa...maybe like a spicy thick salad? haha loved the guac though

Its the closest pre made salsa ive found that is similar to homemade...
IMO the brands like tostitoes and what not have no flavor and are far too runny. Might as well be dipping my chipa in tomato sauce. Lol.

I prefer the taste of Tostitos LOL. I know it's not really an authentic taste but my taste buds seem to love it. I agree about the Wholly salsa being very close to homemade - practically tasted like vegetables to me LOL. They must not put a lot of preservatives in it because it expires super fast (less than a month I think).
