Western union you lost my business

I'm glad to announce that this rant is Over. by being persistent I got Western union to recognize their mistake and give me my money back. If you have this kind of troubles, don't feel afraid to take them to the media or even court. I don't know how has it work in the rest of the Country but In Quebec, several judges have condemned Western union to pay back their costumers.



My mother lives outside Canada and for her birthday I sent her money using Western union. Big surprise I got when I call my mom and she said the code (the code to pick up the money) I have given her was incorrect. I have kept the receipt and the number I had given her was correct. I call the 1800 number and the woman tells me the money had been picked up. Really are they kidding me?
The woman says not to worry they have to start an investigation that will only take 20 business days. Ok by now I'm furious. I started a war on twitter and Facebook, but nothing has been resolved. I guy wrote on their Facebook page that he went to national television in Sweden to denounce a similar situation. I'm so upset at this company. Just be aware to use a different company if you need to send money. Thanks for letting me vent.

I avoid WU since it's used a lot by scammers..

There are much easier ways of sending cash like paypal which we use when sending or recieving b'day and Christmas money from the UK..
