Christmas In July Package Train!!! Read Post 3242!!! (pg 217)

Got home early, power went out again at work... now it looks like it's just certain parts of the city. Was all bummed leaving work thinking I couldn't get my free cereal at Walmart, but when I got home, I had power. (and a/c... lol) Called Walmart and they were ok too!

Love me some free cereal.. had 3 more flickers since I've been home but so far holding on. Didn't they fix this brown out type thing back when the whole Eastern seaboard went out?? Leave it to our city planning office to not have planned...

Will pop back in a bit.. finishing up cooking supper in case we're in the dark again..

Day #2 from NickiB brought me :

Ewww! There's an invasion of the ants outside by my garage door!!!!!!!! I saw a few of them a week or so ago and sprayed them and then put a bit of borax on where I thought the nest was. Then today I see a bunch running up and down both sides of the door. Most looked like they just hatched and the others were huge with wings. I tried stomping on them all and sprayed in more areas. THEN i take the dog for a walk and they are all over the street too and flying on me. I feel like there's a bunch crawling on me now. Help!

on Day2:
CLB gave me the awesomest slippers and socks!!! I am always looking for socks especially since DD takes one from each and hides them lol

K8's necklace is amazing! I'm not usually a fan of larger pieces of jewelry (I do like plain silver necklaces etc) but that's gorgeous! Great colours and balance of metal/stone.
