Great deal! Although, i'm surprised they let you use the coupon because the $4.50 off is for buying the paste, rinse, and toothbrush.
no it say OR for the rinse but you have to buy ANY pro health paste AND oral-b toothbrush
This would be awesome to price match at walmart and get the overage! Is it in their flyer?
Maybe I have a different coupon then, because the one I have says "buy any crest pro-health or crest 3D white toothpaste, crest 3D white rinse and oral b manual toothbrush". There are 3 things in the picture - paste, rinse, and toothbrush. The "or" I read is between the two different types of toothpaste. Tricky wording on many coupons is the reason why cashiers are so skeptical at the checkout.
for the french coupon, it says crest pro health toothpaste OR crest pro health rinse AND oral b manual toothbrush. So great deal hollywood ! :)
thats a good deal :)
i will give it a try
I had to read it a few times myself, but I think it's clear that you don't have to buy all three. My local store took the two coupons I had, and thank you for posting!
I think you need to buy all 3. Thats how *I* read it, anyway. I agree that the OR is between 2 different tps....but WTG for getting through with 2!! :-)
Great that you got a deal! And I am not trying to rain on your parade, we are not perfect, you felt it was for 2 items and not 3, the cashier obviously allowed you to use it...but perhaps I can help shed some light on this continuing confusing question regarding this coupon and I hope I am helpful to others. : )
There was confusion about a similar coupon in last month's insert. The coupon is intended for 3 products, in the English version there is an "or" btw the tp's but then there is a comma and then it states "and" tb. So its obvious you need to buy 3 items just like last month's insert.
The other coupon in the same insert for 2.50 off , its obvious that its intended for two products. Its basic grammar.
The coupon also states "no cash or credit in excess of shelf price may be returned to consumer or applied to transaction" - so this sadly means no overage - P&G also had this wording in last month's insert too. Which is a real bummer! : (
I would caution people using this coupon and only buying two products....cashiers give a hard time as it is with coupons....if it gets back and since I have seen so many threads where ppl have only bought 2 items the store will not get reimbursed which means more cracking down on couponers. And new couponers seeing the threads by more experienced sc'ers make them think its legit.
I also wrote to P&G about this coupon last month and they replied stating its intended for 3 products just like I thought. See below.
"Thank you for your email, after careful review of your question regarding the coupon save $4.50 when you buy any Crest pro-health or Crest 3D white toothpaste, Crest 3D white rinse and Oral -B manual toothbrush (UPC 63766569 expiry June 30, 2013) the coupon is intended that you buy 3 items. One toothpaste , rinse and brush. I hope that makes things clearer"
I want to make this clear I had no intent on using the coupon wrong. I read it about 10 times and how i read it i thought i only needed to buy 2 of the 3 products listed. I did not intend to cheat the system in anyway.
Hollywood1818 you read it and used it they way you red it 10 times obviously the chaser read it the same way . If she was unsure she would have gotten help hurray for you great deal I'm going out to get mine . Don't let anyone rain on ur parade believe me RcSs will get the money back! No sweat way to go
