I think this deal has gone viral, I've seen it posted in a lot of places (which I'm sure was the intention). Frankly, they should give these types of machines away for free given how much the discs cost, and I say that as a loyal Keurig user, so I already use and pay for the Keurig equivalent.

I also think that the line ups will be crazy and even though the price tempts me I don't think I'm interested in getting set up for disappointment.

With the Keurig you can use the k-cups or you can use a refillable cup and use your own coffee. The Tassino ones you have to use their cups and the way it works with a barcode an alternative is unlikely to come around any time soon.

cath007, I have a Tassimo and there is no such thing as "cheap t disq". They do go on sale but over-all it is expensive coffee. I use my regular coffee post most of the time. I would recommend a Tassimo for people who want to make/use their special coffees like lattes, cappuccino, etc.

I found a solution on my end......I will go to my local Timmies very early (2 hours beforehand). They have free wi-fi so I can do my work while waiting

Yup ..its very expensive in the long run.

After the initial quota of discs is over , usually the machine just sits there on the counter as people don't Want to spend under 40-50 bucks to buy some new set of discs
