Just have a look at it.
Can u prove 3 = 2, If not
This is a anomaly or whatever u call in mathematics.
See this illustration:
for example say
-6 = -6
9-15 = 4-10
adding 25/4 to both sides:
9-15+25/4 = 4-10+25/4
(this is just like a square plus b square minus two a
b = a-b whole
square.)
so it can be expressed as follows
(3-5/2)(3-5/2) = (2-5/2)(2-5/2)
taking positive square root on both sides:
3 - 5/2 = 2 - 5/2
3 = 2
Amazing right????
So, hereafter say that 2 & 3 have got same value..Never say both are different

Gah. Just had my final math test of the year (didn't do very well, BTW), and now I read this? Right after I shut just the off "logic" part of my brain? My head hurts.

Alright, so can anybody prove that 3 doesn't equal 2? I'm sure there's something subtle that I'm missing. This is worse than that "make change for a five dollar bill" scene in Paper Moon.

3 doesnt equal 2 because when you type in a calculater 3 - 2 the answer is 1. If they were equal then the answer would have been 0.

According to this very interesting article by the U of T Math Dept., 1!=2, but it can mislead you to believe that 1 does equal 2. :D

Wow...that's kind of confusing...perhaps that's the reason why I'm not too fond of math..oh well each to his/her own
