If it's a consolation, I heard from a retail acquaintance who had a relative in Northern Ontario on the weekend. He could not get home for today (snow) so he missed work. Sault Ste Marie and environs might be getting more tonight.
Mildish but cool here. Will start to be 3C high as of Wednesday.

This sucks, I am not feeling well and all I want to do is sit here and do nothing but instead I need to clean the kitchen do the laundry. Funny others in our house get sick days but I do not and sick day during the week is not an option as I am one of those people who shows up to work half dead.

I h8 people who turn up to work or drop thier kids off at school or daycare that are seriously ill...Playing the Martyr while infecting others isn't a worthwhile cause...It's rather selfish and can be highly dangerous to other people's health..

amen to that...stay home when you are sick people, I am allergic to most antibiotics, getting an infection like strep is a huge complication for me.

Being pregnant AGAIN!!!.. Tough one right? Bundle of joy makes us happy so I'm not "allowed to complain".. Look I want a screwdriver mid-afternoon like all the other SAHMs..

Seriousy though, by the time this baby comes out (March) I will have been pregnant for 18 out of the last 20 months.. Does anyone know what it's like to be pregnant for 18 months straight? No I don't accept the 2 month "break" in between as a real break - it WAS NOT!!

DH thinks he is married to a perma-B.I.T.C.H... I feel like I may very well be a perma-B.I.T.C.H - I don't know who I am half the time..

Some pregnant ladies count down days. weeks or even months of pregnancy.. Not me. I wait for March - March is magic.. Then I have 2 under 1.. New rant..

That's gotta be tough having 2 pregnancies so close together. I think every pregnant women has the right to complain once in awhile, no matter how much we want or how hard we tried to have our babies. Pregnancy is not a walk in the park for most women, it's not easy carrying another human being.

big rant to the rude woman at the movie theater today who whacked me in the head with her bag really hard then didn't even bother to apologize... thank goodness i sneak a bottle of ice water in with me i spent a good 15 min holding it against my head

I hate UPS.

Amazon almost ALWAYS ships canada post but of course, they ship ups this time.
I work during the day, never home to get the package.
Was supposed to be delivered friday, 3 delivery attempts later, it's being held until I either a)pay $5 for them to ship it to my workplace or b) drive 45 minutes out of my way to pick it up from their depot.

What i don't understand is WHY my package wasn't dropped off at one of the local pickup stores in my area where I have picked up countless ups packages since i'm not home during the day.
And when I call to ask why I get a dunderhead who doesn't understand what I mean or why i'm upset....

A big F.U. to the person in Quebec that has been using my credit card number for the past 2 days!

The bank just called to verify since I used it yesterday in both my city and Quebec and since I can't be in 2 places at once...

Glad they caught it and I'm not being charged for any of the Quebec charges (groceries, gas, etc).

Now my card is cancelled and I'm trying to figure out how someone got my number. I hardly ever use it.... Thank goodness I did yesterday!

At least they called to verify it. I had my debit card scammed a few years ago, my account was wiped and I didn't figure it out until a few days later when I went to put gas in my car on payday and my card wouldn't work. Took them over 2 weeks to investigate and give me my money back because it's completely reasonable that I could be at bank machine in BC and then using my card in Ontario 25 mins later.
