Still fighting the battle with the ants that are trying to invade my house. And now the Cutter bees seem to think that making a home beside my back door is a good idea.

If you google it you can find a borax/sugar mixture that gets rid of them for a while. We did it and it worked for three whole weeks. They're back now, but not as many.

Reminds of my senior high school class...about 5 years ago...we had to write an insulting letter to my neighbour as a part of assignment but no swearing allowed and teacher said the exact SAME thing! "Swearing is not cool but insulting people is" heheh

I'd rather swear like a pirate (which I don't) than attack somebody verbally. But hey that's just my two cents

Those fires look awful. I read that the smoke is really moving south and causing a lot of air quality problems.

Not really normal, we're on our second heatwave - and usually our hottest temps are end of July and beginning of August. There are usually summers we go up to 30 and a bit, but not for so many successive days - at different times.

It's all just really compounded by the smoke from the northern forest fires - and it being very very dry here. Mind you, we got several drops this morning! The humidity has been awful too.
Today should be cooler, fingers crossed.

I just want it to rain on the west coast. I hate the heat and some bus drivers don't want to turn on the ac and think windows are a better solution.

why ohh why can't it rain?? it's been sun sun sun for well over a month, currently in a never ending heat wave, water restrictions, fire bans, extremely dry conditions multiple forest fires burning all over the island.. now a fishing ban because the rivers are soo low! in the last two months i think we've had 1 day of spotty rain (not even an inch)

When I tought one of my fb ''friend'' was correct and he is not by insulting another ''friend'' I dont like negativity,it make me litterally sick ,vomitting and etc,........I would stick in here at least no negativity in here exist.Insulting people and '''rabaisser'' is not cool

Don't get me wrong, I love my job. It is probably one of the best student jobs out there, the pay is excellent and the people are great. But I really want to stay home ttomorrow and watch netflix in bed. Working full time is exhausting.

Unless it's a bonfire and some good music, chitchat and cold ones are involved, fire sucks. Sorry to those that have been dealing with it lately.

I applaud my eleven year old for locking up his new bike. Bravo! But next time, please don't lock it to mine and forget to tell me where you left the keys before going away with your grandparents for an extended weekend...

My crazy Aunt is back at it again. Still posting photos on FB trying to guilt me into an impromptu visit and tagging me though she is not my friend in real life or on the Internets.

Get to find out the reasons why I suck tomorrow (AKA, why I wasn't hired for the job I wanted). Should be fun.
