I hardly mail anything ( just did 2 trades within the last 2 weeks though, which is very out of character for me ) Anyways, didn't I waste one of my precious stamps by mailing prescription receipts to the WRONG Insurance Co!? Here I am on the phone grilling the employee as to " why was it not approved? " Hmmmm! why?
OMG! then it hit me! These were co pay and they were supposed to be sent to my Co.

8-) just testing out my new Pepsi emojis... They don't work here I guess.
I am super mad...may be the weather is acting up! So hot! At least I managed to buy stuff a SDM!
Dd needs a new crib mattress for her toddler bed. Found one online at Best Buy last night for 59.99(regular price, nothing indicating it was a sale or clearance price), did a little research, it's selling for 89.99 everywhere else and has great reviews. Go to order it this morning and the price jumped to 89.99.
2 weeks in the row, I have been missing my WMT flyer. So I went to WMT yesterday to grab the flyer so I can PM at No Frills and I forgot the flyer! Doh!
Dear Panhandler Man,
As a fellow human and casual observer of the human condition; it seems to me that the appropriate response to "Sorry, no, I need it for the bus." is not to rant and rave about how I am lying and you hate liars and rats and thieves etc. at me and my young child at the top of your lungs.
If you had stopped ranting for a moment, you would have 1) realized I said "bus" and not, "chartered plane I have ordered". Hence, maybe I am not as rich as you seem to think.
And 2) noticed I really did just board a bus. Or as I sometimes call it, the "poor man's stretch limo" and brought just enough change to get us home in case our transfer expires.
Just a thought... one human to another. I am sorry that you are struggling... but you're not the only one.
Pushed my granny cart home with 30+ pounds worth of groceries and cat litter. Wheel got stuck in the side walk, walked right into it, it tipped, I fall over it, now my shins are all murked with scratches and I'm probably going to be black and blue tomorrow. Not to mention the bone hurts like hell.
29 degres today here not counting the humidity
getting so frustrated - I am looking for a box or rubbermaid/sterile bin to pack my two flat screen tvs. One is a 32inch and one a 50inch. I was hoping to greyhound the smaller tv in a bin along with blankets, pillows etc and just pay the $50.00 cheaper than buying one there and then I will have a tv in Guelph. But to find a big enough bin or box is crazy...
sigh...
Hope you don't mind/I'm not intruding in suggesting but...
If it were me, I'd get two big cardboard boxes for each TV and double-box the TV's. I'd fill one box with the TV and protective items/materials. Shrink wrap it (probably cling wrap and tape because I'm cheap lol). Then put that inside a bigger box with more protective materials and shrinkwrap/tape that one up too.
I've had good luck finding huge boxes outside of big hardware/lumber stores like Rona/Millwork and appliance stores. Even if not the perfect sized box... if it's big enough, you can cut them down and duct tape, staple or glue them to the right size for your TVs. It won't be pretty but I'd choose function over form anyway. Plus it's pretty cheap.
Of course, they weren't the awesome flat screens we have today but I've done two long-distance moves with TVs. First was from Vancouver Island to Thunder Bay, ON second was Thunder Bay, ON to Toronto by Greyhound. A little home packing jobs and a few Hail Mary's and our TVs made it both times.
@ Candini,
DS started asking around 4 for a baby brother or a dog. Either option was okay for him lol. "One and done" was my mantra and I was starting to cave into the idea of getting a dog because I certainly wasn't having another child! What with the career I was planning... I had visions of courtrooms and trials and partner meetings and money - don't forget the money lol but then along came my pregnancy with DS #2 when my "lonely only" was 7 and all of a sudden my priorities changed. What is that saying? "If you want to make God laugh, tell Him about your plans?" Holy heck I was baby crazy right after DS2 was born I wanted 3, no wait 4... How about 5? Kids! (hormones lol). I'm happy with 2 now and had fun/have fun staying home but want to go back to work soon (not to the career goals of years past but just a nice job with work/life balance). Wouldn't change a thing about our family... except get a dog eventually. We all still want a dog.
Missed Keith Urban playing in QC for the festival de quebec sur les plaines dabraham...it is one off my dream to see him.:bawling::wink::P
I swear It feels like I'm stuck at the job I'm at. I hate It because the boss' reactions to this are stressful and over the top. Also....the turn over rate of the other two staff positions has been a lot ( 3 different receptionists in 2 and a half years...and real estate secretary has been 4 in the last year) currently looking for a new receptionist as he gave notice yesterday. At times I feel like no matter his hard I try...I can't escape.
I admit when I found out the cycle of searching and training...and me doing that job as well as mine until someone I'd found...brought me to tears when I got home on Thursday night.
