Argh....I bought winter boots at Sears and my feet are so cold in them. Why do they make warm boots for men but not women? My boyfriend's boots were half the price of mine and his feet are toasty (I tried them and yes they are so warm), yet my Cougar boots suck!
I recently tried the Boathouse for winter boots barbis9 and I was surprised to find great, warm winter boots for $70. I love them!
Canada Post won't deliver expedited parcels to my front door anymore. They leave a message in my Community Mailbox, stating, "Attempted Delivery Failed," item can be picked-up at the Post Office. Trouble is, they did not even try to deliver. Trying to reach anybody at Canada Post to complain about this is next to impossible. So frustrating.
They do the same for me but signed (illegible scrawl) for a parcel requiring a signature and left it in my mailboxQuote:

Another episode of "why not me?"-Mom fell on an icy sidewalk while carrying items back to someone plus a box of cereal to go back to store. I happen to come home from the store and minutes later, she tells me it's my fault she fell (because I told her to return the items she said she would after Xmas and we are two days past Xmas and the blame spreading starts).
So now she claims her left forearm is broken. Good guess on my part that sibling was out on a takeout run and returning as he came home later. They went to the hospital-I made it clear 2013 was done for me and no more.

There's more drama but this item just made me think this week has it in for me.
Probably because for women it's supposed to be fashion over function.

That being said, I have a pair of Columbias that I got from National Sports a few years ago.
They're fantastic. Nice and warm, never had a cold toe in them.

A number of years back the posties started "job action" which means they no longer sorted the mail, they just stuck random handfuls of mail in each person's box. Everybody was getting everybody else's mail and I even got all of someone's "hold mail" plus the form!
