It has been un-real to say the least. I still don't believe everything that has happened.

Luckily she's in good spirits (most of the time) so that really helps. She's much happier now that she's home so now it's just a matter of resting and slowing getting back to walking. We're lucky that we have fantastic doctors and that I don't work so I can be with her at all times.

She's pretty much off the morphine completely so that really helps too!

At this point I think I'm more emotionally exhausted than physically, but things are coming along and each day is a bit better.

Good luck! Go to your "Happy Place" and remember that you are in the hands of someone who has studied long and hard to give you good professional medical care. Of course you're feeling, "feared to death"....this is the right thing to do. Breath in,... Breath out....say a prayer, if you are so inclined.

Giant Tiger won't return socks that are still in the original package and haven't been opened, (dh is super picky about his socks and didn't like the feel of them), because they are considered undergarments.
Would have been nice to be informed that they were not returnable when I was buying them, I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't count socks as undergarments(and I've never had an issue anywhere else returning socks).
