ticket terror - last night Depeche Mode at midnight was suppose to send our place in line and send the time for the pre sale. first email said 3pm, then oops noon and no email until 4am. I know they removed the bots and fake people and for real fans. They were the first band I loved and became a groupie so I was all nervous. Then I saw people who spent 800.00 on Depeche Mode Cd's and Vinyl and still get bad seats. I got up early today, made sure everything was good and waited for my turn - managed 106 row 3 which is what I wanted. I guess more and more bands will be doing this - the more merch you buy the better the tickets.

Yes, thank you Lunch out on Saturday at Fionn MacCool's, which incidentally has delicious food, not to mention many different beers on tap to chose from. Today, I went to the store, got a refund for the cake plus a $25 gift card and many apologies from the manager, assistant manager and the bakery manager.

Oh totally. The bakery manager grabbed the box from me right away and said she was going to go show it to the decorator. So they haven't completely lost my business. It's across town anyway, there are much closer stores to me. Not sure why DH chose there to get the cake this year.

putting up curtains - brand new place and I need four panels. go to walmart not enough choices and not four panels. I go to Giant Tiger - four panels $40.00 amazing - go home and too short. Go back today get curtains and they are too heavy and bent my rod but good length. so now I have to find two new rods. all I want to do is keep the cold out and the four windows are so cold. do I walk to Canadian Tire/Home Sense/Bouclair? or wait until tomorrow
